Labor union membership continues to be blind to the fact that the support of its “leadership” to President Obama and his political allies is coming at the cost of the members. Big Labor bosses and their political allies are happy to continue to throw the membership under the bus for their own personal gain. For President Obama, this is the prospect of re-election; for the labor bosses, this is the survival of their “way of life.” This can be seen through the President’s actions and comments over the past three years.

Early in his presidency, President Obama made disparaging remarks about business owners whose companies had corporate jets. This was done in a blatant attempt to incite class warfare, despite the fact that the country was in a deep recession. By his words, the President willingly sacrificed the jobs of the very people who supported him through union dues. He knew the liberal media would not expose the tragic result his words would have on the private jet and airplane manufacturing industry.

In Wichita, Kansas, the home of private aircraft manufacturing has suffered tremendously, as thousands of union employees employed by Cessna and Beechcraft have been laid off, not to mention the thousands of jobs affiliated with general aviation lost across the country including manufacturers, part suppliers, fuel, pilots, mechanics, FBO services and insurance providers. Additionally, due to the loss of significant sales, use, income environmental and aviation tax revenues, thousands of local, state and federal employee positions, many of which were union jobs, have disappeared.

Adding insult to injury now the White House Defends User Fees of $100/flight on general aviation and corporate aviation to raise revenues in Obama’s continued class warfare and redistribution of wealth scheme in his effort to bring down America. Ironically this will cost more jobs, many of them union, as revenues ultimately will be reduced as fewer aircraft are purchased and general aviation travel is curtailed due to the added expense. The vicious cycle will continue to perpetuate itself at the expense of American jobs!

Further evidence was seen in December when Obama began his campaign against the Keystone XL pipeline (see White House, GOP Battle for Supremacy on Keystone) and again recently when he voiced his opposition of the Keystone XL pipeline that would have created or saved some 20,000 union jobs. He did so to cement campaign support from his environmental buddies. His reasoning:

The President says he’s turning down the project not because it isn’t worthy, but because of what he calls an arbitrary Feb. 21 deadline he was given by Congress to make a decision. The deadline was set by a GOP-written provision as part of a tax bill that Obama signed into law just before Christmas.

This is the same President that rejected a Republican controlled house offer in December 2011 to extend employee payroll deductions until December 31, 2012, and instead demanded a two month extension so he could further evaluate the Keystone XL pipeline (see Obama’s Keystone Delay Flouts the Law). This is despite the fact 56% Favor Building the Keystone Pipeline, Think It’s Good for the Economy (see Obama Ignores His Own Energy Goals in Rejecting Keystone XL). It should be apparent this President has no loyalty to anyone, except himself. It is another perfect example of his intent to Rule by Fiat and move America to totalitarian socialism!

Based on these comments, the President has riled certain labor leaders (see Job Killers-2, American Workers-0). It is apparent that some union members are now questioning who the President is looking out for!

Knowing he had to mollify union members and Big Labor bosses after throwing them under the bus the last three years, Obama recess appointed radical members to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in an effort to achieve Card Check. The Rogue NLRB has responded by reversing previous pro-business decisions and proposing new regulations designed to promote union Corporate Campaigns in a blatant attempt to achieve EFCA Through the Backdoor. Additionally, the NLRB decided to take on Boeing in an effort to further big labor power and suppress Right to Work in South Carolina and across the country. However, despite the fact that the Machinists’ union and Boeing came to an agreement and the NLRB has rescinded its charge this Sleight of Hand from the Rouge NLRB has actually resulted in the loss of union jobs, not reported by the liberal media. Boeing recently announced it will be closing its 85 year old plant in Wichita, which will result in the loss of approximately 2100 jobs, most of them union (see Kansas Common Sense – Kansans Troubled by Boeing’s Announcement to Close Wichita Facility).

Again, Obama’s media friends provided little coverage of this disastrous loss of jobs seemingly oblivious to the fact America Needs an Effective Leader, Not a Politician! Their liberal ideology blinds them to the fact Obama’s Rule by Fiat is A Death Penalty for Employees and Employers. When Will the Main Stream Media Wake Up and realize they are adding and abetting the loss of the very middle class they claim to support?

It is inconceivable that rank and file union members will continue to allow the Big Labor bosses and the President to sell them down the river. However, with little mainstream media coverage most of them are going about their daily lives taking care of their families, doing their jobs and trying to enjoy life. It is a shame that the President’s delusional ambition of Political Aspirations & Payback Ahead of American Jobs combined with Big Labor boss greed and quest for survival are rapidly destroying the middle class dream they purport to defend. Each union rank and file member needs to realize that America needs a new leader and it is time for a change at the top, before the American dream is gone forever.

Newt Gingrich has had his ups and downs lately in the Republican Presidential primary. Though much of the setback has been due to his own miscues, he recently hit the nail on the proverbial head when he proclaimed that the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) should be defunded. There is no doubt that Obama’s recent recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board were motivated by his desire to bring Big Labor on board for the 2012 Election run as recounted in last week’s blog Will the NLRB Decide the 2012 Presidential Election. Newt was correct in stating that defunding the NLRB is the right response to an imperialistic President who intentionally circumvented the spirit of the law for personal gain and philosophical ideology.

Besides legal measures, the only current means to defeat The Cold War Within: The Fight for America’s Future is for the Republican dominated congress to utilize its budgetary power and defund the Rogue NLRB. Such action is even more imperative now, according to Phil Wilson in his latest issue of Union Bailout Update, where he expresses that the two new Democratic appointees, Sharon Block and Richard Griffin, are even more radical than Craig Becker, which is unimaginable. Additionally, Mr. Wilson expressed that Board Chairman Mark Pearce is the true engine behind achieving Card Check, and that the recent appointments provide Pierce the radical majority he needs to achieve Obama’s and Big Labor’s coveted goal of an Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) style regulatory scheme, aka “EFCA Through the Backdoor,” in time to support Obama’s 2012 Presidential run.

The goal is to implement new regulations such as the “Persuader Rule,” “quickie elections,” and the Posting Rule, as described in Phil Wilson’s 2012 Predictions that will allow Big Labor to utilize the Persuasion of Power to prosecute brutal Corporate Campaigns against employees and employers in time to raise money, register voters and put union foot soldiers on the ground for the 2012 Election. The frightening political machines behind them are recounted in my new book The Devil at Our Doorstep.

Don’t believe that this administration and its Big Labor allies are that conniving and unethical? Read the following e-mail received from the Daily Kos supporting the President’s decision and re-election:

Yesterday President Obama used recess appointments to name Richard Cordray the director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and to fill the vacancies on the National Labor Relations Board.

Please, send President Obama an email thanking him for this bold move.

Without these appointments, The National Labor Relations Board would cease to function as a defender of workers’ rights. Without a director, the CFPB couldn’t fulfill its critical function as a watchdog working to stop the fraudulent practices of mortgage companies, payday lenders, debt collectors and other financial interests that are bleeding Americans dry.

Republicans are livid. Failing to grind consumer and worker protections to a halt at the request of their Wall Street masters, Republicans are now claiming these appointments are unconstitutional (they’re not). Within hours of announcement, they began setting up congressional hearings.

This is a big effing deal, and credit should go where credit is due. Please send a thank you email to President Obama for making these recess appointments.

Keep fighting,
Chris Bowers
Campaign Director, Daily Kos

P.S. Please chip in $5 to help support Daily Kos.

One must be naïve or in denial if this type of straightforward language isn’t bothersome! This group insinuates the goal of the NLRB is only to protect workers from employers. In fact, the Act has recognized the risk posed by labor unions. Pursuant to the language of the Act, the NLRB has two primary functions:

To conduct secret-ballot elections among employees to determine whether or not the employees wish to be represented by a union; and

To prevent and remedy statutorily defined unfair labor practices by employers and unions.

The implications are frightening if this administration, through the use of the NLRB, achieves its goal of neutering business and resurrecting the Gasping Dinosaurs as it will surely be A Death Penalty for Employees and Employers!

It is time to become involved and contact your elected representatives and ask them to defund the NLRB before it is too late. Further, support Right to Work! Newt Gingrich is right America, We are at War! Armageddon is at Hand! Please Wake up!

With the Iowa caucuses kicking off the primary season to decide the Republican presidential challenger, it is important to reflect on what President Obama will be doing to secure a second term as he has no Democratic challenger. As Obama basks in the warmth of Hawaii for 19 days after three years of failed leadership, political game playing, lack of work ethic and historical divisiveness, he must use this down time to repair strained relations with big labor and pull some magic rabbits out of the hat to have a chance at re-election.

Enter the National Labor Relations Board and its radical Obama appointees Craig Becker and Mark Pierce, as well as proposed appointees Sharon Block, a former liberal NLRB attorney, and Richard Griffin, General Counsel for the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) and a member of the AFL-CIO Lawyer Coordinating Committee. The Senate has declined to vote on approval of the two appointees, or on the reappointment of Craig Becker, whose term mercifully ended December 31, 2011. However, it remains to be seen if Obama will use his Rule by Fiat mentality in an attempt to recess appoint them as he did with Craig Becker during a Senate recess in the spring of 2009. If he does it will be obvious pay back to AFL-CIO President Richard Trumpka and former SEIU President Andy Stern, both Obama cronies and admitted frequent White House visitors.

Under the regime of Becker and Pierce, the NLRB wreaked havoc on the business community in 2011, as highlighted in The Cold War Within: The Fight for America’s Future. The fallout is still being felt as two of the principal regulations implemented by the Becker-Pierce NLRB are set to take effect in 2012. The first of these, the “Posting” rule, requires employers to post information apprising employees of their right to organize in accordance with the National Labor Relations Act. Implementation has been delayed until April 30th, 2012 due to legal challenges, while the even more controversial “Quickie Elections” are also scheduled to go into effect April 30, 2011 (see NLRB Adopts Quickie Election Procedure, Sets Start Date). These regulations, however, are potentially just the beginning. A whole host of regulations and prior decision reversals favorable to big labor are pending on the docket, and quick recess appointment by Obama of either of his proposed appointees provides the opportunity for Obama and his labor allies to revive the Gasping Dinosaurs in time to help fill union dues coffers and in turn Obama 2012 election supporters.

Basking in the Hawaiian sun, instead of having to campaign in the frozen Iowa tundra, Obama knows that he must spend some of his precious down time repairing his relationship with big labor. Obama’s inability to pass the “Employee Free Choice Act” (a.k.a. “Card Check”) and his recent opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline has created a rift with big labor. His opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline, as a favor to his environmental buddies, has reportedly cost 20,000 union jobs. One would think big labor would rebel against Obama’s use of Corporate Campaigns tactics against his own buddies; however both sides know big labor has no other option but to support him. Knowing he must have big labor’s full support, Obama will now attempt to make up for the Keystone XL pipeline opposition by attempting to unleash the “nuclear option” of Card Check through the Rogue NLRB.

Now it’s World War III at the NLRB, between business and labor, despite the fact that many of big labor’s desires, including card check, are A Death Penalty for Employees and Employers. Obama and his NLRB cronies, despite attempts by the U.S. House to pass “The Workforce Democracy and Fairness Act” and limit NLRB power (see H.R. 3094) will attempt to neutralize business opposition during the 2012 election campaign, while ramping up big labor contributions and securing its much needed foot soldiers for ground operations. His methods should be a dire warning for the American electorate! If Obama is willing to throw his own supporters under the bus to achieve his goals, it should be very clear he is willing to place Political Aspirations & Payback Ahead of American Jobs. He will utilize his time not to move the country forward in the spirit of bipartisanism, but will stall any meaningful legislation and place immediate blame on the Republicans, the wealthy and the business community, as he is a socialist at heart, and can do nothing more than what he believes. So Why are Businesses Sitting on the Sidelines when they understand this president intends to destroy them and the free market through his regulatory scheme. It is truly a shame the mainstream media, and the business community in its own right, continues to Address the Symptoms, Not the Disease instead of getting on board. The media should be providing coverage of what is going on behind the scenes, and exposing Obama’s plan to allow the NLRB to steal the 2012 election!

The SEIU’s Insidious Tentacles continue to infiltrate government and politics at the expense of its own rank and file without attracting national media attention. Interestingly enough the mainstream media will not peek beneath the covers and investigate reports by employees and employers, such as those detailed in The Devil at My Doorstep, who have been abused by the SEIU’s ruthless tactics and/or the reports of corrupt political connections , government infiltration and pay-to-play ties to the current administration. Several interesting stories have surfaced during the past month, yet not one has received the national attention it deserves through investigative journalism by the national mainstream media.

Among the events:

1. ) On November 10, 2011 a Washington Examiner article reported on SEIU activities in Michigan, a state desperately attempting to pass a RTW bill to stop big labor from usurping employee rights and money, involving the SEIU’s infiltration of state government and how the SEIU Siphons ‘Dues’ from Mich. Medicaid Payments.

2. ) On November 16, Michelle Malkin revealed that former SEIU President Andy Stern utilized his membership on the board for a California pharmaceutical company to facilitate a half billion dollar drug deal for the company. See the article: Obama’s Half-Million-Dollar Crony Drug Deal; Related non-shocker: SEIU endorses Obama.

3. ) That same day, November 16, 2011, SEIU came out in support of President Obama for the 2012 election as seen in the article Endorsing Obama, SEIU Says President for 99%.

4. ) On November 19, 2011, “Mariam the Mighty” and her group of fellow disgruntled SEIU members in California staged an anti-rally against the SEIU during its support of Occupy Sacramento.

For more information, reference the following videos and images: Occupy Sacramento Protestors March to Governor Brown’s Home and Audit SEIU.

Mariam and her fellow members are obviously tired of the SEIU and its abuse of members’ dues. In fact, this past week Mariam Noujaim commented on The Devil at My Doorstep’s blog, Right to Work: A Basic American Freedom, “Many Union Members are not happy with their organization, but feel powerless to do anything. Let’s spread the word to demand transparency. The more their books and finances are exposed the less popular amongst their own members their officers will be. Slowly but surely we can return the Labor Unions to their Members.” Please review Occupy SEIU and the SEIU Watch for more detail on Mariam and her supporter’s initiative to finally see the SEIU Exposed.

5. ) On November 30, 2011, the National Labor Relations Board (see the Rogue NLRB)led by radical former SEIU attorney Craig Becker attempted to achieve EFCA Through the Backdoor as detailed in The Cold War Within: The Fight for America’s Future. Following through on the Obama labor agenda, the Board took a critical step to benefit labor unions by approving a proposed rule to shorten election times, and minimizing the opportunity for companies to fully educate its employees and to communicate any opposition to unionization of the employees.

6. ) On December 1, 2011 Andy Stern published an article in the Wall Street Journal in support of President Obama and his economic vision by praising China’s Superior Economic Model, the very type economy President Obama is intent on imposing on the United States.

7. ) On December 7, 2011, the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor (“a date that will live in infamy”), it was reported that former Illinois governor Rod Blagojovich was sentenced to fourteen years in jail, as he took a fall for his President. See SEIU Corruption Nets Blago 14 Years.

8.) Finally, on Thursday December 8, 2011 an article appeared exposing that the governor of the state of Connecticut has acted through the implementation of Executive Orders to force unionize day care providers (See CT Gov Schemes With SEIU To Unionize Day Care Providers & Others Without A Vote).

The preceding stories, which occurred in the short span of 28 days and collectively have major implications to employees, employers, the government, politics, and the future of this great country, are just the tip of the iceberg in the ongoing SEIU saga. Why is there such a lack of exposure by the national mainstream media, when corruption involving the SEIU, an organization that is closely tied to the president, seems so apparent? Why is the SEIU allowed to fly below the radar, while organizations and businesses with less notoriety are persecuted in the national media? Is it because the mainstream media philosophically agrees with the SEIU’s tactics? Are they afraid of the SEIU’s tactics? Could both be factors? When Will the Main Stream Media Wake Up and expose that the reality of the SEIU’s continued Persuasion of Power is all about Union Power for Thee, But Not for Me!

Recent polls indicate Americans are fed up with Big Labor’s schoolyard bully tactics and utilization of taxpayer money to support political candidates and liberal agendas. Additionally, Americans are tired of government deficits driven by public sector pay, overblown benefits, and restrictive work rules. Americans, including union rank and file members, are tired of Big Labor’s attempt to deprive them of basic freedoms. They voiced their displeasure in last November’s election (see Union Members Not Happy with Their Leader’s Political Spending and Union Members Overwhelmingly Oppose Union Boss Political Spending on 2010 Midterm Elections). In states like Indiana, elected officials have heard the people’s mandate and are proposing “Right to Work” legislation (“RTW”) that will provide each and every American the right to personally decide if they wish to be represented by a union, without fearing the threat of reprisal. What could be more American than the freedom of choice?

Politicians and Big Labor bosses in Indiana, Michigan and New Hampshire are already drawing the battle lines for debate and potential passage of Right to Work (“RTW”) laws during their respective 2012 legislative assemblies. Determining which state will be next and become the 23rd Right to Work state is a matter of speculation. Unfortunately, we can be certain that the rhetoric, propaganda, misinformation and theatrics from liberal politicians and Big Labor bosses will be divisive. As chronicled in my book The Devil at My Doorstep, I have first-hand experience with Big Labor’s tactics and their use of corporate campaigns. These campaigns were utilized against my company and its employees by the Service Employees International Union (“SEIU”). These campaigns used as the union’s “Persuasion of Power,” a term originally coined by UAW President Owen Bieber in 1984, and later resurrected by former SEIU President Andy Stern during his tenure. Corporate Campaign tactics utilize Saul Alinsky’s motto “Ridicule is man’s Greatest Weapon”. They isolate the target and then use intimidation, ridicule, misinformation and intimidation to destroy it! The campaigns embrace the use of tactics, as recently exposed in a SEIU Contract Campaign Manual, designed to force employers to capitulate with union demands and sign a Neutrality Agreement. This onerous agreement eliminates employees right to a secret ballot election during union organizing campaigns, imposes “Card Check” and requires employers to provide a roster of all employees and their home addresses to union organizers. By use of the Neutrality Agreement, union organizers are able to bypass a neutral and independent election. Instead, the organizers are able to identify employees and “visit” them at their leisure, including at times and places private to the employee. This includes an employee’s home, where they can then utilize any tactics they wish, unmonitored by any government agencies. They can intimidate or otherwise force a bare majority (50 percent plus 1) of the employee population to sign union cards, at which time the employer is automatically unionized. The scheme is fraught with danger of abuse, intimidation, improprieties and misinformation.

Corporate Campaigns allow unions to force unionize employees by pressuring employers, through expensive public and legal pressure, into signing the Neutrality Agreement and subsequently negotiating contracts that have the potential to make them uncompetitive. Forced unionism through Corporate Campaigns is today’s weapon of choice, as unions win a small percentage of organizational secret ballot elections conducted through the auspices of the National Labor Relations Board (“NLRB”). In short, Big Labor doesn’t care what employees believe or want, they are determined to force unionize and keep them for life through defeat of RTW. If Big Labor is more than willing to force unionize people, is there any doubt it will resort to the same tactics to keep them unionized, ensuring the ultimate survival of Big Labor power at the expense of the economy, jobs and freedom of choice?<ins cite="mailto:Erik%20Bigelow" datetime="2011-12-06T13:33"></ins>

This time the Corporate Campaign target is RTW in Indiana and other states. While the Big Labor circus performs in downtown Indianapolis during the legislative assembly set to begin January 4, 2012, it must be understood that RTW is not about the future of unions or the business climate of Indiana. RTW is about the basic God given right of every American to freedom of choice and each individual’s right and responsibility to self determination absent from the threat of intimidation and force. If unions cannot survive under these basic tenants, then so be it! Many institutions, organizations, civilizations, governments and inventions have become extinct as progress passes them by and relegates them to history. Big Labor’s Gasping Dinosaurs, who represent less than 12% of the workforce, are now waging a scorched earth campaign for survival at the expense of the very employees they claim to protect and at the expense of the most fundamental fabric of our country “freedom of choice.”

Big Labor would have you believe they have an altruistic mission to provide people the right to be represented in the workplace. However, if big labor was so concerned about peoples’ rights, why wouldn’t they be in favor of allowing each employee freedom of choice, as recently expressed by a non-union worker in a union company (see Republicans Didn’t Run When Democrats Were in Charge)? The simple answer is that Big Labor fears many will leave the union rolls because there is no intrinsic benefit to membership, resulting in the unions losing their coveted dues. Membership dues are the true objective. The labor unions are nearly extinct and they need membership dues to elect sympathetic politicians. In turn, these elected officials will pass laws or appoint members to the NLRB that will utilize their regulatory power to administer Big Labor’s agenda, thereby forcing unionism on more public and private employees (see Card Check through Regulation vs. Legislation, Actions Speak Louder than Words). In return, Big Labor will pour more membership dues into political coffers. It is a cycle passing monies from rank and file workers to Big Labor bosses and liberal politicians (see Union Power for Thee, But Not for Me).

RTW provides freedom of choice for employees and provides unions the opportunity to compete in a free market society without taxpayer or employee subsidies. Unions were necessary and beneficial at one point in history; however, they have hastened their own demise. Despite Big Labor’s claims of “protecting the middle class,” union demands have essentially created an unsustainable system due to out-of-control wages and benefits and restrictive work rules in both the private and public sectors, ultimately destroying the middle class they purport to support. The American auto and steel industries are prime examples of the unions’ destruction in viable industries and drastic reduction of the middle class jobs they claim to protect. Simply put, in the private industry there are limits as to what the unions can obtain due to the competition companies face and the need for companies to be profitable. Public sector unions, however, believe the coffer is limitless, which is where they made their mistake. You can only tax the electorate so much before it rebels! When labor costs per person rise, the logical response to avoid bankruptcy is to reduce the number of jobs. Consequently we have seen a historical decline in the number of jobs in the auto and steel industries, and the current threats facing public school teachers and other public employees. It is the predictable result of the tactics and socialistic philosophy of Big Labor bosses!

Big Labor bosses also claim that RTW is unfair, as some people would benefit from union negotiations without paying union dues (see Should Workers Have to Pay Union Dues?). The real question is, why would so many people choose not to participate if they had a choice? If unions provided a viable service or product, employees would be more inclined to buy. However, many of today’s unions rarely provide meaningful benefits such as job and/or safety training, instead only emphasizing growth for the sake of growth, and ultimately money and power for Big Labor bosses. Union dues are viewed as a means to an end instead of an investment designed to improve the skills and safety of its membership. Unions would fare better if they spent more time developing products and services that would benefit both employees and employers. The typical response of a labor union is to lean solely on the excuse that every employee has the right to “collective bargaining.” However, if unions utilized membership dues to provide a viable product or service, they might be able to attract enough employees to form a collective bargaining unit that was engaged, instead of resorting to forced unionism of people who are not interested. Unfortunately, the goal of Big Labor bosses is not to serve its members, but to impose its will on the Indiana public, sacrificing freedom of choice for over 70% of Indiana employees who support RTW (see Viewpoint Poll and Hoosiers Support Freedom), the true opportunity for effective and beneficial union growth and triumph of the free market system. A triumph that would result in a competitive business atmosphere, spawning increased job opportunities and economic growth for the citizens of Indiana and throughout the United States!

Ultimately, it is an issue of the right to private property, one’s labor. It is an issue which we expect both sides of the aisle at the statehouse to honor and defend. It is also imperative that both sides respect the democratic process and return to the State House on January 4, 2012 prepared to do the peoples’ will and debate openly, instead of hiding in hotel rooms in Illinois (see Gov. Mitch Daniels Vows to Make Sure Indiana Lawmakers get Work Done). The right of private property is a triumph of Western Civilization, and the associated freedoms that come with it have proven to be extremely rewarding for those who work hard to achieve the American dream. Our founding fathers designed a marvelous system that guarantees social and economic justice by establishing individual responsibility. We can only hope that our elected officials will wake up and protect our property rights before it is too late! After all, Right to Work is the right thing to do for the citizens of Indiana and the United States of America.

Desperation is setting in at the White House and the white knight attempting to rescue Obama from himself is the NLRB, guided by a pair of Obama recess appointees Craig Becker and Mark Pierce (see National Labor Relations Board or NBLR – National Big Labor Resuscitation). Becker and Pierce are taking steps to achieve Big Labor’s most coveted prize, card check (see Card Check through Regulation vs. Legislation). The NLRB has scheduled a vote this Wednesday, November 30, 2011 where they Plan to Ease Way for Unions to rapidly organize employers through quickie elections. This vote is no more than “Card Check” in disguise (see the Board published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking here). Why is this pair in such a hurry? Member Becker’s term expires at the end of December 2011, and this is the last time the rogue NLRB is guaranteed to have a democratic majority to combat the pending legislation to reign in the NLRB and to pass regulations that favor Big Labor (see Workplace Fairness Act Set to Move to the House Floor). Just as important, the timeline referred to above is obviously a blatant move to provide big labor with the tools to rapidly force unionize unsuspecting businesses in order to provide Obama and the Democratic party a huge campaign fund source derived from the new influx of membership dues just in time for the 2012 elections. This is obviously a simple “pay to play” maneuver that will be A Death Penalty for Employees and Employers.

This is a classic case of Political Aspirations & Payback Ahead of American Jobs, because this President and the rogue NLRB are intent on Overwhelming the System in order to achieve their labor agenda, first pronounced in the Employee Free Choice Act (see EFCA Through the Backdoor. Contrary to disingenuous mainstream media and liberal democrat rhetoric this Sleight of Hand from the Rogue NLRB has nothing to do with protecting employee rights, social justice or protecting the middle class. In fact, it will provide Big Labor the ability to do just the opposite by providing it with the tools to intimidate employees into signing union cards well before petitioning for an election, while removing employer ability to educate employees by shortening the election process to 10 days or less. This will virtually eliminate the employer’s ability to expose its employees to the truth that just because they signed a union card doesn’t mean they have to vote union during the secret ballot election as vividly detailed in The Devil at My Doorstep. The truth is, this is much less about the rights of employees to organize, than it is about the president winning the 2012 election, the future survival of the big labor Gasping Dinosaurs and the redefining of America into a socialistic form of government.

However, the NLRB Putsch could have a monkey wrench thrown into its plans by the lone remaining Republican NLRB board member, Mr. Brian Hayes. In a recent letter to Congressman Kline, Chairman of the Committee on Education and the Workforce, Mr. Hayes indicated that he has been removed from the regulatory process, and that he may resign or boycott the vote to eliminate the chance of passage on Wednesday (see NLRB Member Hayes Details Outrageous Pearce Strong-Arming on Quickie Election Rules, Hayes Letter to Cline and Chairman Pearce Response to Member Hayes). The circus continued when Big Labor lover and beneficiary, California Congressman George Miller, took Hayes to task concerning his threats to resign and incapacitate the board (see Representative Miller Weighs In On Potential Hayes Resignation and Miller’s Letter to Hayes). Congressman Miller is well aware the Supreme Court ruled in 2010 that two members alone lacked the legal authority to issue new regulations, which would obviously derail the president and his appointees ruling if Hayes decided to take such action, an action Hayes needs to take if we are to avoid Rule by Fiat and the associated massive loss of jobs/high unemployment.

When Will Congress and the Main Stream Media Wake Up and ask “Why are Businesses Sitting on the Sidelines?” They must realize, before it is too late, that this President and his backers are not interested in Restoring America’s Prosperity, but fundamentally changing it to a socialist/communist state. His biggest Big Labor backers such as the SEIU have been involved in rallies that raise the question, is Communism at the Highest Levels?

We must act before Becker’s NLRB Forces Unionization through Administrative Action. Please do your part and Click to Contact your Elected Officials NOW! Ask them to request Hayes to step down before Wednesday’s vote so that we may stop the Administration’s agenda. Such action is necessary to reign in the Rogue NLRB and this Administration’s destructive path towards socialism. Remember the cold war is now from within and America’s future and soul depends on all Americans understanding that The Problem with Socialism is Socialism.

This week’s defeat of Ohio Senate Bill 5 is just a preview of what can be expected during the 2012 elections as the Ohio Voters Rejected Public-Union Limits.

Big labor, realizing that it had to protect its public unions, showed its solidarity, as it spent almost $30 Million dollars, and filled the streets with foot soldiers to ensure Senate Bill 5 was defeated (see Public Unions: Last Hope for Big Labor at America’s Expense!, Off-year Ohio election posts highest turnout in 20 years and Unions Target New Ohio Law). In a foreshadowing of the 2012 elections, the Gasping Dinosaurs showed they are not going down quietly! Conversely, it was evident that Governor Kasich and other Ohio republicans were not prepared and did not understand the labor machine or their corporate campaign playbook, and subsequently were steamrolled by these tactics (as described in Corporate Campaigns: Vehicle to Forced Unionism and Political Payback). Obviously, they did not learn from Wisconsin, where massive changes to collective bargaining laws were successful and, as a result, the state is now headed towards a balanced budget (as seen in A Win in Wisconsin! Next, the Rest of the Country). The difference in these two situations was that Wisconsin’s Governor had a plan and was prepared for Big Labor’s scorched earth attacks.

The question now is if the conservative candidates for the presidency and Congress will be prepared and stand firm in the face of scorched earth attacks sure to occur during the 2012 election campaign. If they plan to be successful, they must be aware that Big Labor is fighting for its very survival and is therefore a very dangerous opponent. Secondly, Big Labor has a powerful ally in President Obama, a trained SEIU union organizer (depicted in Obama and the SEIU Sittin’ in a Tree). The President will utilize all of his prior training to affect the labor agenda through techniques and mechanisms as described in recently exposed SEIU manuals (see SEIU Training Curriculum and Contract Campaign Manual). This will include intimidating his challenger and then ramping up a Smear Campaign! Additionally, constant misrepresentation of the facts and misleading propaganda will be foisted upon the American Public with the media falling in line in typical fashion.

In fact, the President has already started utilizing such tactics, as expressed with the comments made during his recent “Jobs Bill/ 2012 Campaign Tour.” The tour, paid for by American taxpayers, also highlighted the notion that Republicans Want Dirtier Air and Dirtier Water! President Obama made similar attacks during the debt ceiling debate when he said “I Cannot Guarantee Social Security Checks will be Mailed if Debt Deal not Reached,” which implied that Republicans were responsible! Big Labor will continue to harp on the idea that conservatives are destroying the middle class. Big Labor will continue to recruit individuals that are naïve, easily manipulated or intimidated. These attacks are apparent to someone who has experienced a Big Labor Corporate Campaign. Their plan is to isolate, intimidate and force its target to capitulate, as chronicled in The Devil at My Doorstep. Although the final objectives are different, the ruthless tactics are the same!

There is no doubt that this week’s result in Ohio and the tactics utilized are an indication of the ugly, brutal battle that we can expect during the 2012 election (see US Poll Battle Likely to Be Close, Tough, Maybe Brutal and The Brutal Campaign Ahead). The question is whether or not the voters will wake up in time to realize AmericaNeeds an Effective Leader, Not a Politician; if not, they will receive a brutal awakening to Who Is Really Running the Country.

The SEIU’s Persuasion of Power appears to be wearing thin even within its own membership. Over the last several months, SEIU members have been asking questions about SEIU policies with respect to use of membership dues for politics, excessive executive compensation, member intimidation, misleading propaganda and election irregularities.

A recent article, NLRB Quickie Election Fact Check, exposes an SEIU training document (in place while Member Becker was that union’s Associate General Counsel) that encourages organizers to “steal, steal, steal.” Evidently SEIU members in California feel this philosophy is being applied to its own membership. Mariam Noujaim a.k.a. “Mariam the Mighty” and Erica Soules are leading a group of disgruntled SEIU members who are demanding the SEIU open its financial records so members can see how dues money is being spent through www.HelpSaveOurState.com (see State Worker Takes on Union to Save California). In fact, Erica took the fight national with an appearance on Fox Business News where she exposed the SEIU’s misuse of membership dues for political purposes (see America’s Nightly Scoreboard).

These two ladies have also challenged recent raises the SEIU’s “big labor bosses” have bestowed upon themselves at a cost of $ 295,000 annually. Apparently they feel overworked by these elected positions for which they voluntarily ran (see SEIU Compensation Initiative, SEUI Open Letter and SEIU Officers Compensation). They also challenged the SEIU’s strike fund, which had reportedly accumulated $10,000,000, when there was no provision for the SEIU to strike in the contract (see Four Letters Served). The initiatives by these brave ladies, as well as the initiative led by member Ken Hamidi to allow members the choice to opt out of paying dues not germane to membership benefits (dubbed ” Fair Share Fees”) have thrown a bright and unwelcome spot light on SEIU financial practices (see SEIU Non Germane).

The SEIU is no stranger to thuggery and doesn’t hesitate to use those tactics against anyone, including its own members (see SEIU Watch – Campaign Manual Promotes Breaking the Law and SEIU Thugs Beat Up State Worker Ken Hamidi in Sacramento). Much like they do during their Corporate Campaigns, the SEIU uses not only physical intimidation, but also psychological warfare through misrepresentation of the facts. Is this SEIU Propaganda – Lies or Just Carelessness? The SEIU also likes to distort the facts in addressing its own members on its labor television network (see Channel 100). These are all standard “playbook” tactics developed and used by the SEIU, as discussed in Corporate Campaigns: Vehicle to Forced Unionism and Political Payback.

In addition to its questionable financial practices, member intimidation and misleading propaganda the union is now being charged with irregularities during union recognition elections exposed by its own members. “Mariam the Mighty” observed ballots with no U.S. postmark (as required by the SEIU) being opened and counted. When she challenged the process, she was forced to leave the room, as stated in the “Unfair Practice Charge” filed with State of California’s Public Employment Relations Board (see SEIU Ballot PERB). The response from the SEIU was typical propaganda. They stated that Mariam acknowledged there was no problem before she left on her own accord (see SEIU Ballot Response). In another long drawn out representation election, between the SEIU and NUHW, SEIU members exposed questionable electioneering by the SEIU in an attempt to discredit NUHW (see SEIU Electioneering in Kaiser Conference Room). This led to an election rematch between the two rival unions as the Administrative Law Judge who presided over the case, brought by the NUHW and disgruntled SEIU members, wrote a 34 page decision citing a long list of irregularities by the SEIU (see Kaiser Election Results Koed NLRB Judge Orders Rematch).

The sad part of this activity is not only that the SEIU big labor bosses are betraying the trust of their own members, but that they are supported by a political system that encourages the corruption. Even more astounding is the fact these stories represent activities in one state! Multiply this by 50 and you will understand why we as a country are failing to address the disease of labor corruption as noted in Addressing the Symptoms, Not the Disease.

BigGovernment.com founder Andrew Breitbart received another taste of SEIU thuggery this past week at “Occupy L.A.,” his second public run in with the SEIU thugs. Mr. Breitbart’s first exposure was memorialized in Unholy Alliance? , The Devil at Breitbart’s Doorstep and SEIU’s Unholy Alliance. In that experience, Mr. Breitbart and Mr. Glenn Beck were confronted by, Reverend C.J. Hawkins, one of the multitude of characters that attacked EMS during the SEIU’s Corporate Campaign to force unionize EMS employees, as chronicled in The Devil at My Doorstep. It is obvious that the SEIU is willing to attack anyone or any entity to achieve its goals, using intimidation as its calling card!

In the latest incident, a union thug followed Mr. Breitbart throughout the “Occupy L.A.”event, in an obvious attempt to intimidate him (see SEIU Thug Follows Andrew Breitbart Around at Occupy L.A. and Andrew Breitbart Hits Occupy L.A. Protest, Brings Eric Bolling the Video Evidence). This act of outright intimidation is similar to what I experienced during the SEIU’s corporate campaign against EMS, when two SEIU thugs fell in shoulder to shoulder with me for two blocks in downtown Indianapolis (see blog Corporate Campaigns: Vehicle to Forced Unionism and Political Payback).

It appears the SEIU is ramping up a corporate campaign against Mr. Breitbart. In this instance the goal is not to force unionize his employees, but rather to silence him much as they have done with their own members, small and large businesses, banks, government officials and the mainstream media. See SEIU Thugs Beat Up State Worker Ken Hamidi in Sacramento, A Story of Our Future (use of a corporate campaign against small business), California Hospital Alleges SEIU Extortion (use of a corporate campaign against large business), A Smear Campaign (use of a corporate campaign against a city council president), SEIU Plan to Destroy JP Morgan (a plan for the use of corporate campaign against banks) and many mainstream media sources, including Fox News as seen in the SEIU’s website post Glenn Beck and Republican Violence (the use of corporate campaigns against Glenn Beck). The goal may be different but the means used to accomplish the goal are the same. Remember, the SEIU believes it can do whatever it wants to anyone to achieve its goals! SEIU believes that the ends justify the means. This ultimately became clear to me when SEIU contract manager Dennis Dingo, in our last meeting before the commencement of our battle with the SEIU stated “We like conversation but embrace confrontation,” a clear declaration of the SEIU’s “Persuasion of Power“.

Apparently, the SEIU does not like it when someone turns the table on them and exposes their role, as did Mr. Breitbart at “Occupy L.A.” This, despite the fact that they shamelessly broadcasts its involvement in the occupy movement on the SEIU’s National Workforce Network (see Occupy Wallstreeters- SEIU’s Stephen Lerner Leaks Plan to Terrorize Corporate Executives). It is refreshing to see someone stand up and challenge the SEIU, as most of the mainstream media, businesses and business owners back down based on perceived public perception and potential loss of business or advertisers. What they must realize, is that the vast majority of the American public already ignores the SEIU’s public displays, recognizing it for what it is truly is, radicalism! Unfortunately, some only see the SEIU as a projection of the “Persuasion of Power” and not the desperate Gasping Dinosaur it actually is! A gasping dinosaur that needs to obtain a steady supply of dues and paying members, through misrepresentation of the facts, in order to maintain financial viability.

It is time for the vast majority, including businesses, politicians and the media, to stand up to the SEIU’s Insidious Tenacles and take back America!

The mainstream media is attempting to portray the “Occupy Wall Street” protestors as the left’s version of the Tea Party. In truth, they have little in common, with the exception of their legitimate objections to “Crony Capitalism” and “Wall Street Bailouts” (see Tea Party attacks could damage GE). I speak from experience when I characterize Tea Party participants as people who want to see change occur, but do so through a peaceful, gracious, and low profile approach, unlike the boisterous, high-profile and obnoxious “Occupy Wall Street” approach, now seen nightly on the networks and cable television. This past week I had the distinct pleasure to speak in front of the Palm Beach County, Florida Tea Party, the Palm Beach County, Florida Republican Club, and the Madison, Indiana Tea Party. Those in attendance were attentive, respectful and thoughtful. They were patriots concerned about the direction and future of this great country and the future of their children and grandchildren. This is markedly different from “Occupy Wall Street” and similar protests held around the country this past week, which are only self-serving, as illustrated by demands to eliminate mortgage and other debt.

“Occupy Wall Street” is not the voice of the people. It is part of a grand scheme concoted by labor unions to serve their agenda (see Former SEIU Official Reveals Secret Plan to Destroy JP Morgan, Crash the Stock Market and Redistribute Wealth in America?). As you view the videos of the protest, you will see numerous SEIU and AFL-CIO participants in the crowd. This is clearly an organization attempt by labor unions, despite SEIU President Mary Kay Henry’s attempt to distance SEIU involvement in “Occupy Wall Street” in a duplicitous article Why Labor Backs ‘Occupy Wall Street’. Interestingly enough, the AFL-CIO was very up front in its involvement as reported in the Indianapolis Star article Occupying Indy.

As I spoke to the Tea Party groups, it was apparent to me that the attitude was not “What is in it for me?”, but rather “What is best to preserve this democracy, and this republic?” The debate and questions were animated, but thoughtful much as I envision were those of our Founding Fathers. They understood the problems on both ends of the spectrum, from “Crony Capitalism” on one end to “big labor” corruption on the other. Their true goal was to work to discover what needed to be done to fix the system and preserve our future. Never did self indulgence, class warfare, religion or race enter the picture. Does anyone believe the “Occupy Wall Street” protestors can say the same?

In the Tea Party groups I met and listened to great Americans such as General Paul Vallely (Stand Up America), Thomas and Deneen Borelli (The National Center for Public Policy and Project 21), Rick Berry, Rick Reuss & Lisa Seng (Sons and Daughters of Liberty), Les Naiman (Louisville talk Show Host), Jim Coyle (Radio Personality), Randy Frye (Indiana State Senator), Anita Carbone (Tea Party Coordinator) , Marie Davis ( Republican Club President), Brian Mudd & Joel Malkin (Radio personalities, WJNO), and many others who spoke with obvious passion about preserving this great nation and American Exceptionalism. These are people who work for a living, ask for no entitlements, defend this great country and look to preserve the God given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, without government intervention. They realize that Individual choice, not government, fuels prosperity. This is in contrast to a group which had no answer when asked “why are you here?” They are nothing more than union stooges. It is time to understand America, We are at War! Armageddon is at Hand! Please Wake up!
